Yang Bin's Lecture on "Digital Transformation and Technological Development Trends within Enterprises" Was Successfully Held

On the evening of November 16, 2024, the 38th lecture of the "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall" of BNUBS, titled Internal Digital Transformation and Technological Development Trends of Enterprises, was held in the lecture hall of the Electronic Building. This lecture is specially invited to be delivered by Yang Bin, Vice President of Siemens China and IT Director of Greater China. Zhou Jianghua, Director of MBA Education Center, presided over the lecture, while Li Jing, Associate Director of MBA Education Center, and more than 150 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students from the School attended to listen.

Mr. Yang first explained the process and a series of achievements of internal digital transformation of Siemens China's "Lean Digital Enterprise" project. After establishing a digital culture and building a foundation, the "Lean Digital Enterprise" project, as the third phase of Siemens China's internal digitalization, aims to build it into an industry benchmark for lean digital enterprises. Subsequently, he sorted out multiple examples of digital applications and introduced the impact assessment implemented by the company, which is a KPI monitoring of internal digital operations that reflects the speed and scale of the company's transformation. Finally, Mr. Yang analyzed the global trends in technological development and introduced some core technologies and their impacts, such as 5G and quantum computing power. During the lecture, Mr. Yang actively interacted with his classmates and answered their questions.

Introduction to the "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Series"

BNUBS adheres to the mission of "Promoting business and culture to serve the nation and the world by creating knowledge and developing talents", and continues to pay attention to the development and practice of digital economy and management.
