Ⅰ. School Introduction

The University of Wurzburg is a public university in Wurzburg, Bavaria, Germany. Founded on December 10, 1402, it is the oldest university in Bavaria. It is a member of the European Elite University League of Coimbra Group and a member of the German U15 University League. Humanities, law and economics, life sciences, and natural sciences and technology are the four areas of expertise in which the University of Wurzburg has the greatest strength. The university's outstanding academic standing is also reflected in the large number of cooperative research centres, research training groups and research units funded by the German research Foundation DFG.

 

Ⅱ. Program Introduction

1. Course Content

 

1）.Economics and Managerial Challenges for Europe

Lectures on Economics will cover European macroeconomics, climate, trade and European competition policy, as well as migration within the EU. Business lectures will cover international financial reporting, taxation, corporate strategy, innovation, global supply chains and digital business processes, as well as human resources management in the context of Demographic transition in Europe. Upon successful completion of this module, students will have an in-depth understanding of some of the major issues dealing with the global economy.

2）.Digital Opportunities in Europe

 

Lectures will cover different aspects of digitization, business information systems and information management. The class uses interactive teaching that combines theory and practice, including hot topics such as digital business models, business analytics, information management and emerging technologies such as blockchain. Upon successful completion of this module, students will have an in-depth understanding of digital economy opportunities in Europe.

 

 

3）.Virtual company visits

The University of Wurzburg will also offer virtual company visits, giving students the opportunity to gain insight into German business culture.

1. Undergraduate, graduate (including professional degree master) and doctoral students of BNUBS

2. Good English listening and speaking skills

3. There is no minimum GPA requirement and a transcript is required
